To qualify for citizenship under this new scheme, highly skilled employees need to meet several criteria:

1. Greek Language Proficiency:

- Acquiring a high level of Greek language proficiency is essential. Residency requirements vary depending on your level of Greek:

- A2 Level: Requires at least 4 years of lawful residency in Cyprus and 12 months of continuous residency.

- B1 Level: Requires 3 years of lawful residency, plus 12 months of continuous residency. Language Examination Proficiency in Greek must be demonstrated through exams administered by the Cyprus Ministry of Education, Sport, and Youth, via the Examinations Service.

2. Knowledge of Cypriot Culture and Society:
